To my surprise and delight it was only February and it just seems like the spring. The past couple of days have been fantastic weather. The snow is obviously not deep powder but it is great spring snow. The weather permits you to wear sweatshirts instead of jackets and best of all being able to get out the sunglasses rather than the goggles. There is nothing more than enjoying a meal up on the top of the mountain and being able to sit outside and look out the back bowls of Vail. It is truly amazing. The weather calls for more snow and that is fine by me. I will take these “spring” days in the middle of winter any day.
