Everyday is a blessing up here in Alpine country. There is always so much to do, due to our amazing landscape. Summer activities are so much fun and really make the time fly. From our gorgeous mountains to the deepest, bluest lake in the country, we have it made. Yesterday, I drove my friends boat all over the lake, end to end, and still made time for a late afternoon bike ride. Today I met up with the usual suspects and we went to raise hell on the golf course. My game is usually awful, but the wind was blowing at my back on every hole and golf balls were diving for the green. It was magical. It has also been getting so chilly lately that my mind is concentrating on the weather and when the snow will finally fall. This has caused me to go through the garage, grab my ski rentals and snowboard rentals and tune them to a pristine condition. I just can’t wait for Heavenly Ski Resort in South Lake Tahoe to open their lifts and let me carve some serious turns. See you on the slopes.
