Exploring the Whistler ski resort in the off-season

June 14, 2009

Depending on the weather, Whistler and Blackcomb mountains have lost most of their snow by July or August. That’s a great time to explore the mountain on foot or by mountain bike. It’s amazing how different the mountain looks when there’s no snow on it. See if you can identify your favorite runs, see if you can even access some of them without the packed snow on them. Head to the former Whistler ski shop now bike or hike shop, grab a trail map and enjoy.
